Terms of Service

By creating a Moneytrak account, you ("User", "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") with Moneytrak ("Moneytrak", "we"). Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Moneytrak is a personal finance tracking application. It provides tools to track transactions, assets, liabilities, goals, budgets, and taxes. It is NOT an investment-advisory service, brokerage, distributor, bank, or any form of financial intermediary regulated by SEBI, RBI, or IRDAI.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your master password.

3. Your content & zero-knowledge architecture

All financial data you enter is encrypted on your device before storage. We do not have access to your master password or the data encrypted with it. If you lose your master password, your data is unrecoverable — we cannot reset it. You agree this is a feature, not a bug.

4. Not financial advice

Every calculator, projection, insight, asset recommendation, chart, and number displayed in the Service is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute:

• Investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security
• Tax advice
• Legal advice
• A solicitation of securities, mutual fund units, insurance, or any financial product

You agree to consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser, a Chartered Accountant, or other appropriate professional before making any financial decision.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for money laundering, tax evasion, or any unlawful activity.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the cryptography.
• Do not scrape, probe, or stress-test our infrastructure without written permission.
• Do not share your account with others; each user must have their own account.

6. Subscription & billing

• Paid plans are billed annually in advance, with no auto-renewal.
• Pricing is in INR and is exclusive of GST. Applicable GST is added at checkout based on your billing state.
• If you choose not to renew, we will email you a reminder 60 days after expiry. Your encrypted data is permanently deleted 90 days after expiry — please export anything you need before then.
• You may cancel anytime. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice to your registered email where practicable.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code, brand, and documentation are the exclusive property of Moneytrak. You retain ownership of your encrypted data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moneytrak's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including investment losses you incur after using our calculators or insights.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Moneytrak against any claim arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
